For this single-story commercial construction project in the United Kingdom, StructCAD Design & Engineering offered the design and engineering solutions.

The architect proposed a curving roof with a clear span of more than 30m and round columns for the project. The difficulty was in providing portal action where the CHS columns and curved beam connected. In addition to creating curved portal frames, our engineers created the steel connection detail specifically for this project.

This enabled the area to be open as envisaged while reducing steel usage by over 40% and avoiding the need for bracing.

2x PEB Industrial Building with mezzanine floor, UAE

Both of these industrial projects with mezzanine floors were designed and engineered by StructCAD Design & Engineering.

The project was divided into two PEB buildings, each having a mezzanine floor for storage and offices. One portal frame had a span of more than 45 meters, while the other had a span of only 20 meters. As required by the client, connections were developed and detailed in Tekla after model construction and analysis.

Our job was to deliver a design and engineering solution for this industrial construction project in India. 

For the construction, we created engineering plans, general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection details drawings after conducting a feasibility analysis and performing engineering calculations in accordance with IS code. We also handled the project on-site with the erection team, and the steel was produced locally.

Our task was to offer a turnkey solution for an industrial construction project in India, which included design and engineering, fabrication, on-site erection, and final finishes. For the construction, we created engineering plans, general arrangement drawings, fabrication drawings, and connection details drawings after conducting a feasibility analysis and performing engineering calculations in accordance with IS code. We also handled the project on-site with the erection team; steel was manufactured locally, and the completed build was handed over to the client 10 days before the agreed-upon completion date

10m clear span, 7m eaves height Warehouse Unit with Mezzanine floor, India

Our task was to offer a turnkey solution for this Indian warehouse facility. It included a mezzanine floor with a client-required permissible living load of 7500 kg/m2.

At the design phase, we participated in design, engineering, estimating, and project management. At the construction stage, we participated in fabrication, erection, and handover.
